Overview
John studied medicine in Birmingham and completed postgraduate training in Oxford before moving to Bristol to work as an NHS GP. He enjoys all areas of medicine with particular expertise in dermatology, joint injections, paediatrics and occupational health. He also has a side interest in the history of medicine and has given several lectures on this subject. John was a founder member of Beard Medical Practice and has enjoyed working as a private GP and occupational physician. He now focuses on his NHS GP role, but he still visits the practice to complete ENG1 Seafarer Medicals and OGUK Medicals.
