Overview
Dr Radu Iosub is a patient-centred Consultant Psychiatrist dedicated to clinical excellence and compassionate care. His professional ethos is grounded in evidence-based practice and a commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes for his patients.
He was awarded a summa cum laude PhD from Giessen University (Germany) in 2006 for his research. Following this, he joined the University of Bristol as a Research Fellow, where he worked for three years conducting advanced neurophysiological research and teaching medical students.
Between 2011 and 2017, Dr Iosub completed his Psychiatric training in Bristol. He became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2014 and was honoured with the Registrar of the Year Award for the Severn Deanery in recognition of his outstanding clinical and leadership achievements. In 2016, he was one of only two UK psychiatrists awarded a competitive bursary for the prestigious ECNP Summer School of Neuropsychopharmacology in Oxford.
Dr Iosub provides private consultations by appointment, specialising in the treatment of anxiety, mood, and psychotic spectrum disorders, as well as trauma (PTSD), addiction, and dual diagnoses.
