Overview
Henry has a wealth of medical experience, having worked as a GP for fifteen years, including the last seven years as a private GP. He completed his medical degrees at Manchester University and then moved to Bristol before working at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and Weston General Hospital. He went on to complete his training in general practice and was awarded postgraduate diplomas in a number of other specialties. He enjoys all aspects of private GP and has particular expertise in cardiology, respiratory medicine, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics and occupational health. His dual roles as a private GP and occupational physician complement one another and he continually updates his training.
In addition to being a private GP, he is an approved doctor with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and provides ENG1 medicals to seafarers requiring certification. He also performs Oil and Gas UK (OGUK) medicals and OGUK Fitness to Train medicals to those in the offshore industry. He is a registered approved medical examiner of divers (AMED) for those who require HSE commercial diving medicals. He is also approved to provide Belgian Seafarer Medicals on behalf of the Belgian Maritime Authority.
