Overview
Hassan is a consultant at North Bristol NHS Trust where he leads the tier-3 obesity service. Hassan has special interest in obesity medicine, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and type 2 diabetes. He has experience in managing people undergoing medical therapy for obesity, and optimising medical conditions before and after obesity (bariatric) surgery. Hassan runs dedicated PCOS clinics and diabetes clinics.
Hassan completed a PhD and NIHR clinical lectureship with focus on PCOS and obesity. Hassan is SCOPE certified in obesity management by the World Obesity Federation.
